An Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) is a university-qualified health professional who meets strict national standards and is accredited to provide medical nutrition therapy.
The term “nutritionist” is not always regulated, meaning qualifications and scope of practice can vary. Dietitians are qualified to work with complex medical conditions, while other nutrition professionals may focus more on general healthy eating advice.

What and how we eat plays a major role in everyday life, health, and wellbeing. A dietitian can help you build a positive, sustainable relationship with food while working towards your health goals.
This may include supporting:
Growth and development in children
Management of medical conditions such as diabetes
Improving energy levels and overall wellbeing
Navigating allergies or intolerances
Achieving personal nutrition and lifestyle goals
Our focus is on practical, evidence-based advice that fits into real life—helping you make food choices that are both enjoyable and supportive of your long-term health.
